Charred Oak Nakiri
A 170 mm Nakiri knife. Blade is handforged from 80CrV2 steel, brut-de-forge finish. Handle is made of high quality Oak wood, harvested in Poland. Charred and oiled for unique look and improved water resistance. Burned finish also gives a fantastic texture to grip. Heirloom fitted brass guard adds to the rustic, handmade aesthetic. Blade has a convex grind, with 2.5 mm thickness at the heel and tapering up to 1.6 mm at the tip. The edge is extremely sharp, and combining this with its geometry it makes for an absolute vegetable-chopping-machine. Very pleasant to grip and fantastic to use.
