Birch Bark Scandi

A regular sized Scandi or Puukko style knife. Blade is handforged out of 80CrV2 steel, machine satin finish, profile is a sabre grind with a microbevel. Handle is made out of birch bark pressed on the tang of the blade and secured with brass bolsters. Finished with tung oil. Great for hiking, camping and some not too heavy bushcraft tasks, sharpening sticks and some light batoning while also being great for cutting food out in the wilderness. The blade is made out of carbon steel and will rust, therefore it needs some minimal care and maintenance. Wipe dry after use, and if kept in moist conditions - you might want to oil the blade a little. Comes with leather sheath.
