A big chopper made out of Japanese Suminagashi steel with White Paper core. Blade tapers from 5,5 mm at the hilt to 3 mm at the tip. The geometry allows both for heavy chopping as well as some fine cutting tasks. The handle is made out of american walnut, with brass fittings and black g10 liner. Handle was oiled multiple times, followed by buffing on a buffing wheel and finished with wax coat. The grip, although slightly glossy, is nice and soft and somewhat grippy in the hand. Fitted with a natural leather sheath which will keep the blade safe and secure.
